We are able to transmit ENS safety and security declarations on your behalf to EU customs authorities to EU entry points including France, Belgium and the Netherlands. These declarations are a mandatory requirement and used by import border control authorities to assess any potential risks from cargo entering their territory.
On 28th April 2022 the UK government announced that the requirement for safety and security declarations on EU imports will no longer be introduced in July 2022 as originally planned, the end of 2023 is now targeted as the revised introduction date.
